The Library

Many of the fine readers of this blog know or would guess that, in addition to a professional interest, I have a soft spot in my heart for libraries (and archives).  Thus, I was thrilled to be able to bring Rosalie to our local library, the recently remodeled Broadway branch of the Queens Borough Public Library.  Fittingly, we were going to get a baby book.  I’m sure we will be back soon for more books and perhaps for one of the many kids programs.

For once, I wanna see pics of you holding the baby in the sling at some Astoria neighborhood destination, Kevin. Maybe McLaughlin’s?

    • You bring up an excellent point. One of the great pleasures in life is a glass of Bushmills and a pint of Guinness, poured by a salty Irishman — so much the better way with my baby strapped to my chest. We’re on it.
