Many of the fine readers of this blog know or would guess that, in addition to a professional interest, I have a soft spot in my heart for libraries (and archives). Thus, I was thrilled to be able to bring Rosalie to our local library, the recently remodeled Broadway branch of the Queens Borough Public Library. Fittingly, we were going to get a baby book. I’m sure we will be back soon for more books and perhaps for one of the many kids programs.

You bring up an excellent point. One of the great pleasures in life is a glass of Bushmills and a pint of Guinness, poured by a salty Irishman — so much the better way with my baby strapped to my chest. We’re on it.
